Gender-Aware Framework in International Entrepreneurship: How Far Developed?—A Systematic Literature Review

This study seeks to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) of the present state research on gender and international women entrepreneurship. SLR critically assesses existing frameworks offered by for measuring entrepreneurship, including theoretical which they were built, their validation (if any) application beyond original settings. Based total 241 works using keywords “Entrepreneurship” AND “Framework” “Gender”, this reveals that although entrepreneurship has made considerable progress over last few years, still there is lack an established gender-aware framework, was urged scholars in field decade after decade. The findings reveal studies offer framework evaluating perspective with no conceptual operational definition constructs empirical validation. Additionally, unfolds suitability assessing cross-boarder insubstantial. Finally, points out uneven advancement prominent paradigm leaves important avenues explore future research.
